Untapped: the Australian Literary Heritage Project

Many much-loved Australian books are now out of print and not easily accessible to readers.

Untapped: the Australian Literary Heritage Project is a collaborative project between writers, researchers and libraries – including Libraries Tasmania – to renew access to beloved and long-lost books written by some of Australia’s favourite writers.

Tasmanian readers can now access more than 150 titles via BorrowBox, Libby and Overdrive with their Libraries Tasmania membership. To top it off, each time you borrow a book more funding goes to the author.

Rediscover your favourites all over again, including literary giants and popular authors such as Thea Astley, Ivan Southall, Libby Gleeson, Isobelle Carmody and Jackie French.
